Acupuncture - Individuals & Community Acupuncture (Asheville):
Acupuncture Appointments may include Moxabustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, Craniosacral Therapy, Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle recommendations, and Therapeutic Movement when appropriate.

Community Acupuncture in Groups of 3: $35 per person
Package of 5 Community Acupuncture Sessions: $150 ($30 per session)
Groups may schedule together in the same time slot. If scheduling for more than one person at a time, please call or email before booking and we will make sure this is the right fit. Adjunct therapies such as cupping and craniosacral area not possible with this option due to time constraints. However, it's an excellent way to get consistent treatment

Integrative Herbal Medicine Consultations for acute and chronic conditions. Chinese Herb Medicine, Ayurvedic, Western, and Hawaiian. This is a wonderful adjunct to Acupuncture in Asheville, NC, and a complement to many other types of therapy, including Western medicine.
Babies & Children's Craniosacral Therapy: Asheville, NC

Superbills for Insurance Provided. As the State of NC insurance plans continue to expand to include acupuncture, we will accept more and more types insurance. Please check back often, or call with questions.

Optum VA Community Care Insurance for veterans credentialing is in process.

Worker’s compensation may be accepted with prior authorization and payment arranged by your employer or their insurance company. Physician referral is preferred.

Accessibility:

12 1/2 Wall Street in Downtown Asheville, NC does not have an elevator. Patients must be able to walk up a flight of stairs if coming to Synthesis Medicine Acupuncture's Wall Street location in Downtown Asheville.

Please call/text/email prior to booking online and we will set up your appointment at Synthesis Medicine Acupuncture's wheelchair accessible location in South Asheville.

Rescheduling & Cancellation: ​

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so within 24 hours to avoid the $50 missed appointment fee. Your understanding is deeply appreciated.

Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis such as emergencies and unavoidable, unforeseen circumstances.

Office Safety & Sanitation Protocols:

All pertinent surfaces will be wiped down with an appropriate disinfectant between patients. All linens will be fresh.

Masks will be worn by both practitioner and patient on a case by case basis. N95 Masks are available upon request. As a patient you are welcome to request that your clinician mask.

An air purifier with HEPA filter will be running for the duration of your appointment, and turned on high between patients to thoroughly clear the air for the 15 minute buffer time between patients.

Your clinician will follow all CDC safety and handwashing protocol as well as Clean Needle Technique.

Should you begin to experience respiratory or flu-like symptoms prior to your appointment, please call and discuss ahead of time.

Should you experience a known exposure to Covid-19, please reschedule your appointment for 5 days post-exposure.
