Coming to the Office
Getting to the Acupuncture Clinic
The entrance is from Oakland Avenue, NOT Santa Clara Avenue. So, please head up Oakland Ave. (away from 580), and enter the first driveway on your right/Grand Lake side of the street. Park on the right side of the parking lot, and you'll be looking at the front door.
Drive: Right off the I-580 Harrison/Oakland exit. There is a free parking lot!
Walk: 5-10 minutes from Grand Lake, Piedmont Avenue, and Adams Point.
Bus/BART:

The Line 57 bus stops right in front on the corner of Santa Clara Ave. & Oakland Ave. for easy commuting from Rockridge BART station and the Public Market in Emeryville.

Grand Ave. & Elwood Ave. and Grand Ave. & MacArthur Blvd are both a 4 to 8-minute walk.
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for needle placement in the limbs. Shorts or pants that can roll up above the knee comfortably, and a short sleeved shirt or tank top are perfect.
Masks
Your comfort and safety is the priority in clinic. You are more than welcome to wear a mask, as well as request that I do so as well at anytime, for any reason. N95 masks are always available upon request. Please take into account that patients and practitioner may be immune-compromised.
Contagious Disease Symptoms and Exposures
Should you begin to experience respiratory or flu-like symptoms prior to your appointment, please call and discuss ahead of time. For example, cold and flu symptoms may actually be hay-fever, in which case, you are welcome to come in. We may also decide to each wear a well-fitting, N95 mask for the duration of your appointment.

Office Safety & Sanitation Protocols
All pertinent surfaces will be wiped down with an appropriate disinfectant between patients. This includes the table itself, doorknobs, intake chair, desk, keyboard, etc. All linens will be changed and fresh for each patient, and washed with disinfectant detergent.
An air purifier with Hepa filter will be running for the duration of your appointment, and turned on high between patients to thoroughly clear the air between patients.
Your clinician will follow all CDC safety and handwashing protocol as well as Clean Needle Technique.
