Synthesis Medicine Acupuncture is in the process of moving to Oakland, California

and currently does not see patients for acupuncture.

Clinical AyurvedaVirtual Consultations

In Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, we focus heavily on the concept of "accumulation of cause," meaning, all large and small potential elements that may aggravate your main concerns. 

 

Then, we create a detailed plan of herbal, dietary, and lifestyle medicine with the goal of reestablishing an environment in which your body may return to balance, known in the West as homeostasis.

Ayurveda is excellent support for chronic conditions, and works best when a patient is prepared to commit 2-3 months to adjusting their diet and lifestyle with bi-monthly appointments to reassess and move to the next stage.

Follow-Up: 60 minutes / $175​

Established Patient Package: $650 (4 Follow-Up Consultations)

Integrative Herbal MedicineVirtual Consultations

Integrative Herbal Medicine Consultations for acute and chronic conditions. Chinese Herb Medicine, Ayurvedic, Western, and Hawaiian. This is a wonderful adjunct to Acupuncture in Asheville, NC, and a complement to many other types of therapy, including Western medicine.

Craniosacral Therapy

Babies and Children - 45 Minute Session / $105

Adults - 60 Minute Session / $135

Sessions may also include Chinese techniques such as acupressure and gua sha.

Acupuncture 

Acupuncture Appointments may include Moxabustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, Craniosacral Therapy, Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle recommendations, and Therapeutic Movement when appropriate.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture 

Single 60-Minute Treatment: $185

Payment, Insurance, & Clinic Policies

Payment Options for All Services:  

  • Cash, Zelle, All Major Debit & Credit Cards, Venmo 

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Plans may be used for treatment and herbal medicine.

Acupuncture Insurance Information:  â€‹â€‹

  • Superbills for reimbursement by your insurance provided. 

  • Worker’s compensation may be accepted with prior authorization and payment arranged by your employer or their insurance company. Physician referral is preferred. 

  • Car Accidents (No Fault Insurance) - Superbills Provided.

Discounted Rates:  

  • Students, Seniors, Veterans, Medicaid Recipients, & Healthcare Workers: 10% off  

    • Please present a valid student/veteran/employer ID or Medicaid card

  • Referral Discount: 20% off .

    • You are also welcome to gift your referral discount to someone in need

  • Should prices present an inhibition to treatment, please call and we will discuss potential solutions for you​

 

Rescheduling & Cancellation:  â€‹

  • Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so within 24 hours. 

  • For no-call/no-show appointments, there is a $50 missed appointment fee. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis such as emergencies and unavoidable, unforeseen circumstances. Please don't hesitate to call and let me know what's going on.

Office Safety & Sanitation Protocols:

  • All pertinent surfaces will be wiped down with an appropriate disinfectant between patients. All linens will be fresh. 

  • Masks will be worn by both practitioner and patient on a case by case basis. N95 Masks are available upon request. As a patient you are welcome to request that your clinician mask.

  • An air purifier with HEPA filter will be running for the duration of your appointment, and turned on high between patients to thoroughly clear the air for the 15 minute buffer time between patients.

  • Your clinician will follow all CDC safety and handwashing protocol as well as Clean Needle Technique.

  • Should you begin to experience respiratory or flu-like symptoms prior to your appointment, please call and discuss ahead of time.

  • Should you experience a known exposure to Covid-19, please reschedule your appointment for 5 days post-exposure.
